Ideas for a leopard mount

lavacaIdeas for a leopard mount
I'm looking for pictures of great leopard mounts; not of the snarling variety, but more along the lines of resting on a branch, or even on the ground. Mine was rolling in the grass like a housecat with all four feet in the air shortly before he met his demise. He had just got laid and I suppose that is the leopard version of a cigarette. But that would be rather undignified.

Big game artistryI love that first leopard Jerry, the workmanship on it is exceptional, especially the paws and eyes.

John B TaxidermyFound a couple of older mounts. These are free standers, without a base, and can be placed anywhere in the home without the needed space required with a base.

BigUglyManI always thought that I'd do a leopard (if I ever shoot one) lying asleep on a branch. I can damn near see it in my mind's eye.

sdkidahoAh... makes sense. Phil is SO talented when it comes to cats. He is where I would send mine for sure. The two above that are pretty good as well.
A couple others in this thread are a bit lacking... they have lost that "life like" appearance. And I would not want to offend anyone by saying that as I have no talent in taxidermy whatsoever. Be that as it may, some are just more life-like than others, and if it were my trophy of a life time, I'd be... disappointed... with some of these in this thread.

gsganzerThat "Artworks Taxidermy" Pyramid pedestal mount is one of the best I've seen. That may be my new favorite leopard mount. It looks like he's coiled like a spring, ready to leap. Great work!!

HendrikNZanother interesting concept by Dakota taxidermy.
Personally I would go with a more traditional base and lose the skin accents and greenery, but the mount and rock is pretty eye catching.

jdollarThis was originally designed to be mounted flush to a wall. i reversed the metal hanging straps and mounted it on a piece of furniture, so it is about chest height and backed up to a glass block wall in the trophy room

Not ideal, but I suspect scavengers got to a guys dead cat overnight when they called off the follow-up? I would have done a Victorial style shoulder mount or maybe a cased half mount myself.
