I asked Grafton last week to see if he could make a non-permanent repair from a cast of the unbroken horn. That way the mount would look whole but the "repair" could be removed to show the animal as taken.
Grafton did a good job and sent photos that I am pleased with. It's not a seamless repair if you are looking for it but from a few feet away, it doesn't seem to be noticeable.
I eagerly await seeing the kudu and gemsbok still to come.
