bo-n-aroDad-Gum Jerry.............. you guys have been busy!! What a great buff and, as usual, what a world class mount!

LittleJoeGreat mount. I am a huge fan of wall pedestal mounts and all of my recent mounts have been done that way in including a big muley I am having done right now from last fall. Cannot go wrong. Congrats on the mount and trophy. Love to shoot a big buff someday.

bwanamrmVery nice...
On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

jwmBeautiful mount, as always.
What makes this a "wall-pedestal" as opposed to a shoulder mount?

If you've seen the wall pedestal deer, it's basically the same, the neck is more parallel to the wall and there is a portion of the back that is exposed and covered with leather.

jwmThanks, yes, I've seen those but wasn't aware of the terminology.
Whatever it's called, this one is lovely.

muygrandeI had told Jerry "the story" and asked him if he could get the mount in the position of the dagga boy when I first saw him in the wild. This is about as near on to actual as one could dream! Actually my PH, the highly esteemed John Sharp told me "he is looking right at us"! I expected he would be head on! NOT. He was standing just as Jerry has done his magic, standing right and looking left with his head down, love it on the wall Jerry, you da man!

Thunder HeadGreat looking mount,
Jerry/muygrande, how far does he stick out from the wall? I realy dont have room for a normal shoulder mount. This pose might be the ticket for me.
I have walked in the foot prints of the elephant, listened to lion roar and met the buffalo on his turf. I shall never be the same.
