Deuce22Looking for a good taxidermist in Southern CA
I am needing help finding a good taxidermist in the southern CA area. Had my first trip to Africa and can't wait to go back. Now is the time to start looking for a taxidermist for my trophies. Any help would be appricated.

Mike SmithAnthony Maxwell is a good friend of mine. He is also a great taxidermist and does most of my stuff. In fact I just got a crate from him last month. He is up north towards the SanFrancisco/Sacramento area. I need to talk to him this week so if you want I will give him your number if you pm me. He knows his stuff. He sent me a crate that was 4x4x8 feet and about 180 kilos. It was only about 400 from Ca to Oh. He has so much repeat business he only takes a few new clients each year. I am sure he can help you out.

+1 I've used them for years. They've been in the same location since the 40s. Great people and true artists.

Mike SmithWelcome Anthony, It is great to see you here. My buff looks fantastic, as does everyhting else per usual. You should post some pictures for folks to see the quality of your work. Sorry but I am not very computer literate or else I would do it. How is my sable coming? Are you up to a hunt this year? I need to get away even if it is just a pig hunt. I will get one of the nieces to post some pics for you but it takes time to coordinate. Talk to you soon.
I just saw the link at the bottom of your post. If you put it on photo bucket or similar I am sure someone here would help you post it. If you email it to me I am capable of at least doing that.
Mike

Mike SmithJust for info I believe the buff in Anthony's avatar is the last one he took in Zim with a bow.
