Eland SlayerNew mounting idea from Jonas Brothers
Go here and check out these new things from Jonas Bros:
http://www.jonasbrotherstaxidermy.com/zooart.shtml I really like them. Anybody know how much these things cost? You can see more pictures of them by clicking on the picture in the middle of the page. Anyone have more info on these?

David CulpepperThose are real interesting. Good option for rather than doing a skull/european mount. This is just a guess but obiviously the cost would be more than just a skull mount but I think quite a bit less than say a shoulder mount.

Wildlife ArtistHi Eland Slayer
This style has been around since the 40's. They where sculpted in plaster and painted. I don't know what Jonas uses but one has many different materials to choose from to do this style of horn mount. This is not really taxidermy though. It does look cool don't it. A taxidermist can do this with a real skin also

billinthewildThe quote attributed to Capstick is not correct.
The quotation is from Jose Ortega y Gassett, Meditations on Hunting.

Eland SlayerWell, Peter Capstick says these exact words on a hunting video I have and he doesn't say anything about Jose Ortega.
