cooperjdred fox form question
Hi folks, quick question...
finally, after a decade of trying, i arrowed a red fox late season with a beautiful full winter coat. so now its time to get out the check book and have a mount done.
what i think i want is a standing mount with all 4 feet on the same plane, with the two front feet close together...head up but looking down. i'm thinking of a fox standing on a fallen log, looking down on the ground with a sort of curious expression like they have.
i've poked around a bit and havent really run across a form exactly like i have in my head...
does one exist and i just haven't found it?
also, any other ideas of mounts that are similar i would be open to, if anyone has pics they can put up i would appreciate it.
thank you for your help.
john

nobody2Just supply the taxidermist with your thoughts & maybe a picture. He/she will take it from there, no problem.

Ricardo CYour taxidermist can or should be able to ALTER any mannikin to what you have in mind. Be sure you pick a qualified taxidermist for your hard earned trophy.

SCHALL53I will echo Ricardos remark. Make sure you look a any fox your taxidermist has done. Fox are a difficult animal to get a likelike expression on.
