....before I leave for 24 days in S A and Zim.
Out of here in 8 hours... Big Grin

Question ... why did you give the Jackal slit pupils? Confused They're pupils are round, like Coyote, not slit like Fox ...








I've seen this mistake made before, and I can't understand why. All anyone has to do is look at photos of live Jackal and there's no problems ... it's obvious. homer The wrong eyes can ruin the look of an otherwise nice mount. Frowner

I really like this mount, I think your base work is good as well.

I didn't realize the issue with the eyes until I read what someone else had wrote, but it happens.

I missed one in Namibia as well. They are wonderful little canids.

I would have used a belt sander to flush up the base to the plywood.

You might consider using some kind of colored paint with sand in it to cover up the plywood.

I think the eyes pupils in the mount are and that the clare makes them look like slits....
