i have been tanning my own deer hides for three years . i have only done them with the hair on . this year i have had a couple of requests for hides with the hair off.the tan with lutan F comes out really nice . my question is; does any one know how the suede look is accomplished on the flesh side ? i have tried using a belt sander, a grinder, an attachment sander for a drill, a wire wheel and a sanding block with poor to fair results.any ideas ?
