Bob in TXChristmas Pillows
I shot an Axis doe for the freezer a while back. I sent the hide off to Miss Dodie & Bob at Wildlife Artistry in Cameron, Texas to have 2 of their leather backed pillows made. I wanted to give them for Christmas presents this year. The brown truck showed up just in time to get them off to my sis and my long time hunting partner and his wife. I have several african plains game pillows, but I am going to have to go shoot another Axis and get one for myself. Besides, the meat is almost gone again.

Bob in TXThey were 19"x19" and 20"x20" and leather backed. The total cost including the tanning and shipping was just over $300 for both pillows. They sell in stores for about that much or more each for smaller pillows.

h kittleMy wife just had two pillows made, on from a impala and one from a kudu. They are about 18 x 18". They ran somewhere between $75.oo and $100.00 buck each excluding tanning. For a unique touch we left the tails on. Sorry but I have never been able to master the complexities of posting pictures.
