Gray fox mount ideas plz
Sorry, but I searched pretty thoroughly and didn't find anything striking. This fox has an amazingly full, thick tail that I'd like to be prominent in the mount. Thought about a mantle mount but the wife won't go for it I don't think. And what should I expect to pay for the mount if that isn't too much to ask? Thank you.

For some reason Photobucket isn't working for me today, but if you try my website (http://www.whitetaildesignersystems.com/TaxidermyMountPhotos.html) you'll see what I like with the greys. The artificial rock eliminates the "mantle" clutter and the tail is displayed fully. You can expect to pay between $400 and $700 for a fox mount according to the skills and the intricacy of the diorama (if any) in most areas.

if you're going to do a gray fox - go shoot a fox squirell & mount it with it. you'll amazed at the coloring of the 2 - they are almost exact and it makes for a very interesting mount

Bob in TX
I am having one done currently by Bob Wilkins at Wildlife Artistry in Cameron, Texas. I decided on McKenzies' form #GF-19. Here is a link to their catalog page. You will find other ideas there too. Bob charges $595.
