Lion cost
Saw something that I sure hope was a misprint.
Approx. how much for a life size lion (tanning and full mount)?

What I saw that caught my eye was the tanning.
I'm expecting ~$5,500 for the mount alone.

Prices will vary but I would say that $5,500 is in the ball park for a lifesized mount. Not sure why they are splitting up the tanning cost from the mount cost as you can not have a mount without the tanning.

Perhaps you are viewing a price list that is referring to a finished flat skin rug as "tanning"?

We charge $5400. That's driveout with a base and everything.

Ben,
where do you work in houston? Also, on the dall thread..I completely agree with you about straight mounts, I hate them all! The only animals you straight mount are rhinos, hippos, or elephants in my opinion!

Howdy Oryx,

I work at Tri-State. We are at 1727 Campbell Road, just about a mile north of I-10. I have two very nice lions to look at in showroom right now if you would like to see them.

Hey Ben,
Thanks for the response, I will put it on my list of things to do the next time I head to houston. I live in College Station!

Cool. I'll be visiting family in Bryan this weekend. I used to live there. Look forward to seeing you sometime.
