Bear rug taxidery cost
Out of plain curiosity, how much would it cost to have a bear trophy set up as a rug?

My bear rug squared right at 6' and with the openmouth option (125 bucks) and felt backing it was right at a grand. jorge

I sort of figured the cost would be around one thousand dollars (USD?) I could hope the figure was in Canadian Dollars...

It seems just about everything now costs about a K.

My prices for a black bear Rug runs $125.00 a foot, thats nose to tail, with open mouth.

A Grizzly and Brown Bear run $155.00 a foot.

$125.00 per linear foot is a good measure in the taxidermy industry. That should come with the open mouth and backing.
