While in my workshop today I look over at my caribou mount and I see rice crispy looking things. I know what that means. I am thinking crap, but then again I am glad it is limited to one or two mounts in the workshop away from the house and not all of the stuff in the house. I call my taxidermist buddy to see what he normally uses. He tells me Lorsban but that it is only avialable from a lic pesticide outfit. No problem, I know someone I can call. In the meantime he says that Lowes or the like sells a permethrim based bug bomb by raid that can be used but just dosnt have a residual effect. He says it is one you put in water to activate. I will give it a try and see until I can get access to the other.

Mike, Sevin dust will work. Just dust the mounts real well with it.

Mike, Walker is correct that the sevin dust will work. You can also freeze the mount for a few days but I would also use the bug bombs in the shop as you dont know where else the little bugs are eating away.
