Need to get rid of mounts
I have about 10 mounts that I need to get rid of....Kudu, gemsbuck, warthog, impala, steenbuck, dukier, black wildebeast, zebra, half body baboon, Mule deer, antelope. the quaility of work is pretty good for the africa stuff and the deer and antelope is very good. How or were could I sell these to? or what could I do with them?

Call Lolli Brothers in Mo. they purchase/ consign many taxidermy collections 660-385-2516 or 3812.

I have seen collections on Craig's List that are usually very overpriced. You need to bear in mind you generally will not get back near the amount of money you have invested in your trophies.

Some antique dealers/shops will take them on consignment.

Donation to a local museum or educational center is also a consideration, you could then write them off.

ebay is another option.

The Zebra should be easy to get rid of.

There is a market for the stuff.

I've always wanted to get out to gather my own steenbuck.

I'm more interested in taking and having mounts of the tiny exotics than I am the massive dangerous game.

Do you have an image of the steenbuck?
I might be interested.

Cheers
Tinker

I had omitted e-bay as you will have a higher chance of an out of state buyer purchasing the mounts and that would involve crating and shipping which will be time consuming, costly and a pain in the butt for you, but it certainly is another option.

Another suggestion might be Cabela's. Not sure where you live and if there would be one close to you.

MaryHK.....we still have yet to meet. Sorry the timing did not work out when I went to Argentina last month. I will keep it in mind when I venture south again, and the same for you if you get up my way. BB

Taxidermy.net is good but realize that most of these folks are taxidermists. They typically are not interested in finished mounts. also you will not realize as high a prce as you may want. Check out the sight and you will get a good idea of pricing.
