Plan on Black Bear hunting in Canada this May. Is there some one in the St. louis region or Missouri that you would trust with making a rug?

I do not personally know any taxidermist in the St.Louis area but,since you will be shipping the Bear from Canada it really dosen't matter where you have it mounted. Ship it to a taxidermist that will do a quality job then when it is finished they can ship it to you.

Restating the above post:

Whether you are bringing or shipping the hide back from Canada yourself it is sound advice to send or bring it to a taxidermist you know will do a good job.

Prescouting taxidermist is as good an idea as prescouting your hunting area!

I visted the Shwarz shop today. They just so happened to have a Black Bear rug they just finished and looked at some pictures of full mounts.
