PAHunterHi Adv:
I live in Notheast PA.... My Taxi is excellent in quality workmanship and a fair price.
He is Master Taxidermist, Shawn Lamparter Wildlife Design, Inc. Phone 570-842-9260
He does tons of African Game, all North American Game, and has a great eye for art and Natural settings. From fish to Giraffe, he does it all.
Of the many head of game he has done for me, he did a Cape Buffalo pedistal mount that I have. I have never seen anything that can match it.
Tell him Jim P. from Allentown sent you.
Regards.... Jim P.

geeseDo any of these guys have websites? I'm looking for someone myself, doesn't have to be in PA but it would be preferable. If all goes well I'm going to need someone who can do a lifesize lion that doesn't end up looking perpetually drunk or constipated. No offense intended, but if you've ever seen a bad cat mount you know what I mean, and I'm putting too much into this to get poor work. Hopefully you understand.

Bill CGeese, a taxidermist from Myerstown PA (Lanc County) is currently doing my lion. He is very creative, does custom work, and his prices are reasonable. Contact: Wes Good, Wildlife Artistry, (800) 809-8508. Tell him Bill said to call/email. Website looks to be under construction.
He has a full-size lion in his showroom (this is NOT my lion):

geeseBill,
Thanks, I'll shoot him an e-mail. By the way, what pose are you getting?

Bill Cgeese - Looking at a pose something like this, perhaps a bit elevated, and with a bushbuck instead of the zebra if space permits. The capes just came back from Carolina Fur, and Wes and I need to look over the corner of the room where this would go, and come up with something that will fit.
The mount pictured is large. One thing that impressed me, besides the lion obviously, is the quality fo the zebra, which can be overlooked (as was the case with the leopard/duiker that I had recently done elsewhere...leopard looks great, but the duiker was an unfortunately an afterthought).
Good luck! Bill

deertannergeese... I am a taxidermist in Blair county and have recently opened my own studio after working for two other taxidermists over the last several years. My studio is modest to say the least but I focus on doing quality work. I have a website also....
http://wildlife-artistry.tripod.comI don't have a lot of pics of my work to show because the bulk of it has been for customers and the ones that I did for the other taxidermist I won't put on my site out of respect for them. Give me a call or email if interested.
Thank
