We have started the season off right with this great Kansas muzzleloader mule deer. Hunter Matt Keefer was able to connect with this buck yesterday the 29th on the last day of his hunt. This buck in full velvet was 30 inches wide.
We had a tough hunt with little buck movement due to dry conditions and standing corn. The last day was exciting with a full day of belly crawling and stalking to get this buck.

We start Texas Pronghorn season tomorrow so standby for more pics of our success.
