Wendell ReichLast minute discounted Black Bear in Alaska
I have received a cancellation on two Black Bear hunts for this September in Southeast Alaska. These hunts are conducted off a large cabin cruiser using smaller boats to access the hunting areas. This time of the year, you are hunting along the rivers for Bears feeding.
On each of these hunts, he has one hunter booked. The boat is large enough to comfortably accommodate 4 hunters. This area consistently produces very large Black Bears.
The hunters need to arrive in Wrangell, Alaska the day before the hunt begins and schedule to leave the day after the hunt ends. The outfitter mentioned that he has had good success with finding reasonable priced flights to Wrangell AK through Alaska Air
http://www.alaskaair.com Good airfare rates are still available, even for the early hunt. ( I just checked on fares for the early hunt, and it was $571 from Dallas, TX to Wrangell)
Dates:
September 9-15
September 17-23
Normal price:
1x1 $4500 reduced to $3500
2x1 $4000/person reduced to $3000/person
Additional cost:
Hunting/Fishing license - $115
Black Bear Tag - $225
Contact me phone or e-mail for more info.

Teat HoundHey Wendell,
Have you folks booked for 2006 yet? I already have 2 deer hunts and a black beer hunt scheduled for this fall, but I'm already looking ahead to next year . . . And, I might add, I'm really interested in going to Alaska.
Just curious,

Wendell ReichThis is with Mark Galla.
The boat is 53' I cant remember the make ...
He is permitted to guide in the Tongass National Forest, Stikine-LeConte and South Etolin Wildernesses. He hunts on Prince of Whales Island and the surrounding islands for Black Bear.
Yes, there are plenty of references. I will e-mail or PM them to anyone interested.
I have worked with Mark since '99. I have been very pleased with his results. He has been guiding for about 18 years, if memory serves me correct. His main guide, Marlin, has been with him for a very long time, I would hunt with either of these guys.
Anyone who wants his phone number send me a PM, e-mail or just call.
