Well the rut and the hunting season is slowly winding down in south Texas. Nothing left to do much but take pictures and shoot does and pigs. Still alot of fun, especially when you involve your kids!

It was this buck's lucky day. He is a nice management deer but I felt more like taking his picture than shooting him on this particular day. I was looking for a big 7 pointer who never showed. It was still a great day afield!
