kjjm4Since we're picking 4 rifles, but not including African dangerous game, I'd pick:
my .22-250 Remington 700
my 6.5x55 96 Swede
my .308 Savage 99
and my .35 Whelen 98 Mauser
I could take the 6.5 out and still have all the species I'm likely to hunt well covered, but I love the rifle and couldn't give it up.

Bud MeadowsMy four rifles, smallest to biggest:
1) Anschutz 1407 Standard Rifle .22;
2) Remington 40X in .223;
3) Thompson Center ICON in .308;
4) Winchester 70 in .300 WSM
The first 3 shoot well under .5 MOA. The Model 70 shoots right at 1 MOA

1. A 22lr and a shotgun is not accounted for, since everybody should have one, so with this you are up to 6 firearms. I just want to know your other 4.
2. Not the Big 5.. of course you could choose a 375H&H or larger. Just not for the Big 5.
1. 222rem/223rem
2. 25-06rem/260rem
3. 30-06/300wm
4. 338wm/9.3x62
