Last night the ME IF&W held it's annual moose lottery with names read aloud at the Kittery Trading Post in Kittery, ME.

Of approximately 60,000 entrants 3,015 were picked including about 300 non-residents. Happily, I was drawn and will hunt with a Bull-only tag in the northeastern (WMD 3) zone of the state the first season, which occurs the last week of September.

I drew one WMD9. Took 6 years to do it.

congrats to JSL and PCS for drawing a highly coveted tag. Nine years and no luck yet. Good luck this fall.
