Finally drew an antelope tag, Unit 8 Muzzleloader after 27 years of applying!

What a horrible deal to have to live some place so wonderful and get screwed by the game and fish and the bowhunters on all the tags.

Would kill me to live there knowing the drama on hunting there.

How does the Army base hunting work? Is it for military only or do they let civies play?

I honestly don't know if the military installations are closed to civilians... I would assume that it is up to the individual installations....

Though I am curious as to your note about the tag situation here... At least for elk and deer it's pretty easy to get drawn... Antelope on the other hand is a very limited draw no matter what your weapon of choice... Sheep and bison and the like are once in a lifetime tags due to the very limited resources...

Yep, crapped out again. I guess mine 9 bonus pts for elk and 7 for anti-goats wasn't enough. I'm sure I didn't draw because they're giving me a sheep tag this year!............wapiti7

How did you arrive at the conclusion that bowhunters are screwing everyone ??? Bowhunters still have to wait for tags just like everyone else, except for deer. I've been putting in for antelope for 10 years and still no tag. My last archery elk tag took 9 years. maybe you shouldn't talk about something that you know nothing about !!!
