New Mexico Pronghorn Hunt
This is a trophy Antelope hunt. We set the minimum at 15", so of course, there will be larger Antelope taken than this.

Last year after everyone finished, I drove around the ranch with the outfitter and we saw 4, 16" bucks within 15 minutes. There were two that were a lot larger than this that did not get shot last year.

So, needless to say, if you went into this hunt with the expectation of a 15" Antelope, you will not be dissapointed.

Once again, I will be on this hunt this year. The price is $1850 + license + tax.

For this price, you will not beat the quality of these animals. The outfitter and his family are the nicest guys you could ever find as well.

Hmm, well I just spoke to the outfitter and realized I do not have as many permits left as I thought.

Here is a run down of last years Antelope. It was a bad year with a terrible drought.
This hunt consist of a four different ranches, all bordering each other. Keeping in mind last years drought, take a look at the size of the Antelope taken.

Main camp, 13 hunters; 2 - 14"; 9 - 15" to 16"; 2 - 16" to 17"
Second camp out of 10 hunters, all 10 were 16" and better.
Third Camp. Of 11 hunters 4 were 15"-16" and 6 were over 16" with one at 17 3/4"
Fourth Camp was not hunted last year. It is in an "every-other-year area"

This winter has been one of the warmest on record in this area of New Mexico. The precipitation is good ... I expect some enormous Antelope this year on this hunt.

We do have more bow permits than I thought. I think we have 10 left. Here are some good deals on Bowhunts.

I knew I saw someone sneaking around the ranch last year taking pictures of these Antelope!

Ok, John, I will give you a shot at him.

Okay, you have my attention. What town is the hunting area near? What are the dates for the hunt? When is the application/draw dates?

I've put in for Wyoming, but may not draw. So, I'm hoping that the draw dates are later than Wyoming's draw.
