I'll just quote my post from last year:

Dang, foiled again!

Did any AR members draw anything in Wyoming? Good luck to all those who did.

Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt.

Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.

I drew a elk tag earlier so that helps being unsuccessful x4 today.

Just buying points until we move back home.

Should be set up right for everything when I get back. Going to do an outfitted packstring elk/deer hunt around the park when I get back. Usually doesn't take points to draw that way, but I'll have them just in case.

I have no where near enough points for sheep or moose to even worry about it.

Should be able to have any antelope tag in the state when I get back.
