It's just ended , anybody get one ? We have too many bear here in the Catskill mtns so they had an early extra season.

I spent a great deal of time hiking around the mountains. Spots where I've seen many, many bears in the past were not productive. Hunting this early in the season throws a wrench into things. I had several shot opportunities, all of which were too small to shoot. One little bear walked right at me. He got to within 10 feet and was still coming right at me so I whistled. He never knew I was there until that. Lots of fun roaming the mountains during the early season.
