Kennesaw Georgia area hunting

Does anyone or has anyone ever hunted near Kennesaw GA? Is there any public land or access? Farmers very receptive to hunters?

Kennesaw, GA is part of metro Atlanta. Best you can do there is shooting squirrels in someones back yard with low velocity 22 rounds.

Kennesaw is Cobb Co and very urban nowadays. There are some public Wildlife Managment Areas in the surrounding counties: Here's a link to the GA Dept. Wildlife WMAs in surrounding counties:

30+ years experience tells me that perfection hit at .264. Others are adequate but anything before or after is wishful thinking.
