Randy RoutierGood antelope hunt
This morning I had a father and son in a blind on a fence crossing and they had a very unique hunt. When I say father and son this is a retired gentleman with bad shoulders, knees and also has diabetes and his son was helping him because of the mobility issues he has. A couple hundred yards out at first light they could see a buck with 14 does and shortly after another buck comes in and they go at it pretty seriously for quite a while. Long story short they end up chasing each other around the blind within range and the father puts a good shot on the first buck with his crossbow. While he is standing there having the air come out of him the second buck comes up to chase him off and the son was able to put a good shot on him with his bow. Not very often do you get a chance out of a blind with two different hunters on two different antelope in literally seconds.
