aHunterI would like to do the same and hunt the European Big 5!!
For Europe the 200 grs Nosler Partition might do, for Africa I would like to use the A Frame.
Suggestion for European Big 5: Bear, Moose, Red stag, Ibex ( Steinbock ) and Chamois?
What are the German Big 5? Schrder, Stoiber, Westerwelle ... ??
Hermann

GeorgeSKarl,
I use the Swift A-Frames in Africa, but not in 8mm. They are very good bullets, perhaps even more than you need.

<maral>Hi there!
I have used Swift 220g A-frames in my 8X68S for a couple of years now, and I am very satisfied wiith the performance on game. In my Ruger no 1 with a 25,5" douglas barrel, I get a little short of 880m/s (2900fps) One could say that these bullets are uneccesary though for roedeer and such, but my filosofy is to use one good bullet/load combo in each rifle. Find something that works and stick with it!

<Wheelgunner>Hi Folks,
I used the 200grs in the 8*57is and was very satisfied therewith. Now I load the CDP of Blaser/ SwissTun and can recommend it just as.

carcano91Wrong .sig line, Wheelgunner: the English juxtaposition is indeed citizen <-> subject.
"Subordinate" is clumy and not used in this proverbial context or style.
