Holosight on a H&H
Need ideas and feedback on a crazy idea of mounting a bushnell holosight on my 375H&H bear gun. Got iron sights now and like the idea for quick target accusition. What do you guys think good and bad. Oh and I live in Alaska so the gun earns its keep.

Batterys and the cold don't mix.On a cold day here in California, too long in the elements will zap batterys quite quickly-and a "cold" day here is comparitively warm for Alaska.

Why not just go with a low end range variable scope like a Leupold 1x4 or 1.5x5?Both would set you back around what a Holosight would cost and are much more reliable in the elements.

I am not sure what the regs are in Alaska but I believe this would not be legal here in ID.
