the 9pt was shot chasing a doe at 146yds with truimph ML ,295powerbelt ,win 209 and 100gns of shockeys gold. it weighed 183lbs dressed.

the 8pt i shot with my tikka t3 ,270win ,140grn hornady interlock at 130yds.he had 2 does out in a fence row at 9am in the morning ,i spotted him about the same time he saw me.he just stood there looking at the does,then at me. he wasn't about to leave those does.so he died.

over? still have weeks to hunt. we're half way thru rifle season.then ml for 3 weeks
