NebraskaSaeed.
Even free countries have police. As far as where to draw the line....when someone starts into personal attacks would be a good place to start. But....I'll take your advice and try and ignore the negative posts.

Mike375Nebraska,
For some balance I will put up a view that is opposite to you.
This forum is like a little country and essentially Saeed is the gov't. Thus you asking for gov't intervention or some form of gov't control. I am sure I don't need to remind you that this whole concept is why we have gun laws etc.
But moving on.
Firstly, who decides what should be censored. Don't forget that what you find objectionable I might find humourous or entertaining. Also, on these forums you are free to participate in a thread, read a thread or not read a thread.
Pesonally I find several things objectionable on this and other forums. For example, the often overriding tones of Jesus and the Lord and personal outpouring of personal grief and trajedy followed by the "we are remembering you in our prayers" etc. and etc.
However, I am sure that many people who follow the above also find many of my ways equally objectionable.
Thus I prefer a system that allows me to say what I want to say and the price I pay is to see the above type of postings running through threads.
Mike

<allen day>Nebraska, I can certainly appreciate what you're saying, but - my stance only - I don't ask Saeed or anyone else to sort out these situations. I fight my own battles, and I defend my own interests and/or opinions. I guess I'm used to it just from the day-to-day course of business, and I feel honor-bound to do so under all circumstances.

Pecos41Nebraska, if you don't like a thread. Don't read it. You're starting to sound like the judge shaking his head with disgust as he eagerly flips thru one after another porn magazines.
Would you like Saeed to make you Thought Police?
Filter what you read for yourself! You don't need Saeed to do it for you.

SaeedNebraska,
I have to agree with you about some of the silly posts we have here.
But, as our two esteemed friends, Mike and Allen have pointed out, where does one draw the line?
You will be surprised at the amount of email messages I get from people who want me to put a stop to someone they do not agree with. Which I think is rather silly. It reminds me of those letters to the editor "I am cancelling my subscription" because of that artricle you printed??
My suggestion is to just ignore posts you do not like.
