Any suggestions as to where I could take a Nilgai for a reasonable price?

perryWhat's considered reasonable? Fair chase would be somewhere along the TX coast.

muygrandeCheck out the King Ranch website. Think it is kingranch.com. Also the Yturri Ranch just south of the King offers them. Great fun for a two day hunt. Cost is close to $1500 or so. Area is close enough to the Texas coast to enjoy some great fishing near Port Mansfield as well. They also have some Nilgai hunts out of Port Mansfield.

Equinsu OchaMuygrande is right.. I took a great bull off the Yturria ranch back in 2001. It was an awesome hunt and a blast!! If I recall, I paid 1000$.. but this was 7 yrs ago.

MikeBurkeI hunted a company lease on the Kenedy Ranch in the late 90's. Killed many nice bulls.
Early this year I went on a paid hunt north of our former lease in an area we called the holy land. The outfitter/guide was excellent. The name of the company is Lomas Chicas. I do not know how the prices compare but it was a great experience. They also offered fishing trips.

woodsieLook into
www.wildlifesystems.com. Greg Simons is great and as proffesional as they come. I have never Niglia hunted with them, but have hunted with them in the past, and already have a trip booked with them for next year.

billinthewildThanks. I contacted a few. Early in the 90's I hunted the King ranch twice. $300.00 not including accomodations and meals. Those days
are gone forever.

bwanamrmPrices on Nilgai have gone up and expect to pay around $2,000 as a minimum. I have hunted the Armstrong, King Ranch, Yturria and Kennedy with a number of outfitters. Lendall Laxton of L&L is very good and you have a chance at a huge bull with Lendall... he hunts Frank Yturria's ranch and the bulls are pretty unmolested there so a good chance for 9"s and up. His price was around $2,700 but did not include food or lodging. I hunted with Lomas Chicas last year and there are some good bulls there though I did not see as many as I did with Lendall, however I shot a solid 8.5" blue bull and they included lodging and meals in the hunt for $2,000. Your call as to what floats your boat... trophy quality or all-inclusive. Good luck, either choice is a good one.
