Each year I get a couple of tender, corn fed whitetails and are they tasty!

So whitetail as the topper.

moose
elk
caribou

I have not had mule deer so I am not sure where they would fit in on my list.

I'll second that one but our Whitetails for the most part are not corn fed,but still tasty.

Jayco, I assume yours are potato fed?

tasunkawitko
whitetail deer
mule deer
pronghorn antelope

(all of these are ALFALFA fed, and that sure is nice! some grain, some sage, but mostly alfalfa. better than corn in my opinion.

i have never eaten moose, and only some elk. the elk i had was fine, but no better or worse than the three above.

I eat quite a bit of white-tailed deer and have never really had any that was bad - if not overcooked. The other that I have eaten was some friend's caribou and it might have been the best red meat I have ever put in my mouth - tasty, tender, and little fat. I have not had any of the other. Remember, with the exception of mule deer from what I've heard, taste has much to do with the care meat receives in the field.
