Yes, this is the case!

Moreover, conservatives tend to mind their own business while leftists tend to mind your business.

Almost all of the leftist driven diminution in what most consider rights, like hunting or owning and using firearms, is centered on their drive to control a dependent and compliant citizenry.

A flat to piss poor economy, high energy and fuel cost, stagnant real wage growth, high unemployment and low workforce numbers, high taxation (direct and indirect) mean people have little money or time to engage in some of the recreational activities they would otherwise engage in, like hunting and shooting.

When it is so bad that even decent, willing to work citizen are net receivers of government dole, they must become compliant to their master, the gov't.

Thanks God so many of our fellow citizens woke up this election cycle and began the long march to repairing the damage the leftist have done so recently.
