The buck was killed in Motley Co. Motley Co. is a mixture of rolling farmland (wheat) with mesquites and draws/canyons where cedar/junipers grow. I honestly don't know if the kid shot the deer or not. It has 25 points and was killed on the Diamond Z ranch 11-07-04.

I hunt once or twice a year in this county and the neat thing is that the "average" deer in that county is aove average anywhere else I get to hunt. Sorry I don't have more details.

I was leaving my place tonight when a pickup rounded the corner as I was locking the gate. In my headlights I could see a deer in the bed of his pick-up. I caught up with the guy and could see it was a nice buck...14 points with about a 16" spread!!

I took some pictures of the buck. I'll post them later.
