MileHighShooterWant to hunt speed goats in CO?
This is NOT a guided offer/deal or outfitter arrangement!!! My friend backed out of a preference land owner voucher. I am trying to find someone to pick it up ASAP. I will be hunting Sunday Oct 2, if you'd like to hunt with me. If not, I have directions to the ranch.
Unit 121
Buck tag
Rifle Oct 1-7
The fee they want is VERY reasonable for the area. 250$ plus your tag (31 res 331 non res). You will have to take this voucher to a license dealer and then use it to purchase an antelope tag by midnight of 9/30/11 OR to a CDOW office directly to hunt 10/3-10/7
Please reply to me EMAIL, so we can get things arrange ASAP. The guy arranging the tags, who is family of the rancher and makes NO money on this deal, just getting it done for them, told me 10k acres, should be 6-8 hunters on opening day, maybe 3-4 max (including me) on Sunday. He said some 15's, 16's and a 17 came off last year. For CO, thats a MONSTER. If its true, I can't tell you for sure, but I HAVE seen 15" bucks from nearby ranches taken by friends.

Brian ClarkMy bad i didn't read the header, I would be interested, what are the accomodation and meal for this hunt or do we provide ourself?

MileHighShooterI changed the header lol
This would be a provide yourself. Its not really a "hunt" as much as it is access to great private land and a tag. Normally this area is a 2-3 year draw.
The closest hotel which they told me about is in Eads, CO and is directly east of the hunting area. The ranch is a few miles straight north of Haswell, CO.

MileHighShooterCrap this might not work out for you Brian. I am double checking the regs, I think the tag might have to be purchased at latest the day BEFORE the season starts, so you'd have to be in CO Friday to turn the voucher into a tag through any license dealer. Unless you wanted to hunt opening morning, then that would be fine. I'm not hunting opening morning because I don't know when I'll be done with prior arrangements for the great american beer festival friday night :/
