I am looking for a bison shoot/hunt/kill/ call it what you want in either MT or ND near Int 94. We need two bulls and want to pick them up prior to going hunting for deer in MT in October.

Guys this is an honest question, not trying to snipe at anybody. I have always wanted to go on a bison hunt and take a good full winter-coat bison for meat and to have a buffalo robe made from it. I have been told that a bison hunt is basically "like shooting cattle." What's the scoop on this?
