Anyone ever hunted one of these? Can they still be hunted? I read the name in my SCI magazine, the record book one, it was listed as a North American pudu and I was rather intrigued when I looked it up. It looks like the North American version of a duiker.

I believe you may be referring to pudu mephistophiles; they are in South America--search the internet for a guy named Peter Grubb, he is the world expert on this species.
