Beretta682EKansas Deer Hunting Questions
I could google and spend many hours trying to figure out these questions but I am going to do it easy and try and rely on AR members collective expertise.
Is possible for out of state residents to buy a license and hunt in Kansas for deer or do they have to go thru a lottery?
Anyone know a good outfitter in Kasnas - prefer flint hills area as I have close friends in emporia Kansas.
I am interested in whitetail rifle hunting.
Thanks,
Mike

Heeler75Mike,
Kansas non-resident deer tags are done through a draw system. I believe the deadline is in April. That said, depending upon area there are some leftover tags that can be bought OTC after drawings results are posted. Used to be no problems getting a tag in the draw but that might have changed.
A non resident license/permit is going to cost you about $500.
Can't help you with the outfitters. Sorry.
Here's the link to KDWP if you want to peruse.
