I'm down to 4:

Funny thing is I'm beginning to like my CZ's as well as or better--just wondering if I really need anything else with the rounds my 70's are chambered for though.

A Model 70 is the only gun I'll take to the field. Have never had one fail me in the woods (knock on wood [Big Grin] ). PF 375 H&H (which has a lot of history on Kodiak, one being an 11-foot brown bear), 338 Win. Mag. classic, FWT 300 WSM, and a new Ultimate Classic Camo 300 WSM.

My buddy has 38 last I knew, all pre-64. He just buys them when he finds them. Most get cleaned & go straight to the safe, and stay there. Not that he's afraid to shoot them, he just has so many that most don't end up being used. It's like an addiction for him...

I've never owned a Model 70 Winchester. Maybe someday. That Model 70 SS Classic in 375 H&H sure looks appealing!! [Big Grin]

Nebraska,

That was the same story from me...........Never owned a Model 70...........Until I saw it, touch it, and shoulder it, I never knew what others were talking about until then. It was all over for me......I had to have the Model 70 Stainless Steel Classic left hand, and even in a classic round, the 30/06. Now I have TWO! One with the BOSS and one with out, all in 30/06. These rifles are truly modern classic's, of a old classic, in a classic round, the 30/06. These are my prized rifles.........The turning point for me was the Left Hand factor.
