Almost all the spray teflon stuff is pretty thin and runny. Tiny teflon particles are suspended in a fairly thin oil solution and because of this, it all seems to run all over the place. Years ago, a certain brand was touted to beat out all lubricants on M-16's and other full-auto weapons. All it did was cook off after the weapon was shot about 30-70 rds. I think that the dry lube available is at least a step up. It doesn't drip all over and it doesn't cook away. Even the dry graphite used in locksmithing is better than any spray.

Thanks for the input 475Guy. I'll give the dry grafite a try. I've tried most bore cleaners hoping to take some of the work out of removing copper and found there really is no short cut. I know guys who started using moly and stopped. Never used moly either. I know their are many who like it and the bullit manufacturers offer various diff types of their bullits with their lube. Thats a whole diff subject. I have a friend who gives me his gun after every season and he brings Tetra gun for me to use on it. Thanks again!
