Ram pics, anyone know a site, or have some photos they would share?
I am going on a Ram hunt with my buddy this comming Oct down here in Texas, our "Ram Options" go like this

"Corsican, Black Hawaiian, Texas Dall, Painted Desert, and possibly a few Mouflon mixes"

Personally, I thought the Texas Dall looked the best, is it indeed indiginous to the State of Tx or was this a nick name given when it was brought in? Beyond that, does anyone know any good websites which would have a set of photos showing me the various rams and what would be a good looking example if I were to compare to one I was to shoot? Thanks for any info you can toss my way!

I don't think any of these are indigenous.

Texas Dall:

Corsican:

Hawaiian:

Images from Las Auras Ranch's website. This is not an endorsement of the ranch, I was just looking for some pictures.

This is supposed to be a painted desert (other pictures at the McCown Outfitters web page) :

The Texas Dall, Corisican, Black Hawaiian, Painted Desert, and "Mouflan Mix" are all types of Corsican rams bred for color.

Here is a Texas Dall

Here is a Black Hawaiian.

Here is a Painted Desert. They can be any combination of colors.

Here's a link to my Hawaiian Black. Go to google and type in the various names of the sheep under the images section. You should get plenty of pictures.
