Subject: So you miss a few things when you get older...
Check this out... An old couple were driving to Greenville,
North Carolina and stopped at a McDonalds in Farmville.
They did not know they had hit a deer !! Someone in McDonald
had to tell them. The old man said he noticed that the car was
running a little hot the last few miles !!!!!

What is that in the animal's front leg. Looks like a piece of plastic or maybe a dart that was used to sedate the animal?

UHHH that dart would be the leg bone. Looks like it got broke during impact.

I would have thought there should have been more drag marks (road rash) on the deer's nose and feet/legs that would have been drug on the road surface. I doubt this deer was drug a considerable distance.
