Hey guys, i'm planning a hunt in maine in 08' for bear. My buddy and I want to bowhunt over bait and i'm just interested in what guides have been used and how your experiences were. thanks

I have been to Stony Brook Outfitters in Maine twice, 2005 and 2006. In 2005 I got a black bear using dogs. The second year I went on a bait hunt, I seen several bears but I chose not to take any. I was looking for a bigger bear than I got the year before. I would highly recommend Stony Brook Outfitters, they have great accommodations and great guides.
