hillbillybearTHE HUMANE SOCIETY AND HUNTING
Hi Folks,
Checkout this link to the Humane Society's take on hunting.
http://www.hsus.org/ace/12017 I think its pathetic and bears close scrutiny from honest outdoors men and women if we want to preserve our hunting rights. I know firsthand ( my 6 year old first grade neice said her teacher told them that hunters were all just mean people) that many of the school systems are indoctrinating the youngsters with the point view that all hunters are evil and hunting in general is a barbaric blood sport
Let me know what you think.

<MFH>Please realize that this is not your local so-called humane society. The HSUS is more of a rabid animal rights organization. In either case, it is of concern that our children are being indoctrinated by a few teachers who would be best described as "wacko's". We can only make sure the kids know the truth and that this type of teacher is in the minority. Involvement in the school system is the only way to guard against problems.

PCSame thing is happening in Australia more and more greeny bunny rooter's (usually female) are graduating from uni and impressing there fucked up ideology on the next generation. I work with these extreme morons in the welfare industry, specifically with youth on drugs. A couple of staff use more drugs than the clients.
Talk about sick & evil, it is alright for your kid to play 10 hours of video games were the object is to "hunt animated humans" but it is wrong to encourage your kids to be out hunting rabbits or take them pig shooting. Things really are arse about.

Pa.Frank Hillbillybear:Did you follow up with a letter to the school principal, administrators, school board and/or local politicians? You can't effect change preaching to the chior!
Make their life miserable, or at least make them answer for their actions.
My 2 cents.

jcsabolt-2When I was in high school (1986-90), during the week of deer gun season the schools attendence would go down by 30-50% and everyone that hunted brought their weapons (bows, crossbows, shotguns, etc.) to school. Left them in their vehicles ofcourse. Also, many of us carried knives and no one batted an eye. Never any problems either.
However, currently all weapons are banned from school property and you can be expelled for so much as thinking about it.
If two fellas had a problem, they took it up to Clark Lake about 2 miles up the road and a hundred or so of us followed to watch them beat each other up. Good after school activity! Kids have always fought at school and always will! It's just not POLITICALLY correct to do so. WELL...I'M NOT POLITICALLY CORRECT!
You fight the fight because you have to. Win or lose we have to fight to keep our rights!
