I got it in virginia hills alberta.About 30 -40 yards 375 h&h 260 accubond.Bear took a couple of steps and let out a terrible groan and died..Just walked past a spot on a pipeline,turned around and he came out eating grass I guess.He never saw me when I pulled the trigger.I was able to drive my pickup right up to him,and that doesn't happen very often.Small bear I know but after one ripped apart my camp and ate my quad seat I was getting a little miffed.

I remember your first post now. Thanks again for the pics. About how much would you say your bear weighed? Looks like a pretty good head on it.

I weigh 260 and I WOULD REALLY BE SURPRISED if he weighed 200 ,more like 180 or a little less.He sure looked big when he stepped out that close to me.I got a huge black about 14 years ago that I am sure the hide weighed close to this bear
