PoyntmanI lived on a course near there for 15 years.
Every pond has a resident Gator but they normally pull them after they exceed 8 ft.
That one is about 12 and maybe 13ft.
Big boy for sure!
Sadly this video will quietly cost him his life (guaranteed)
The nuisance trapper that has this territory will snatch him now because they get paid by selling the "nuisance gators" commercially..
No one will likely know or see but he's got a target on his back now

JBoutfishnIn my previous life as an employed productive person I stayed at some 1st class hotels on golf courses in Florida. I recall one hotel outside Tampa that warned about running on the grounds because of gators.

Wen I was at UF they would try to keep the gators in Lake Alice under six feet. There was always one that would stay back in the swamp away from the trails that would grow larger. There was a 8+ footer when I was there in the late '80's.
As a side note, I would sometimes take my lab for a walk along the edge of Lake Alice. The gators would lay submerged with just their eyes out of the water. They would see my yellow lab and raise up so their nostrils were out of the water and they could get a good snootful of him.

Impressive gator. Anyone have an idea of how old this guy would be?

I'd say 600 years old, but admittedly I know nothing about alligators!
