Capt.PurvisOne way to stop hunting is to have liberal people running the US Fish and Wildlife as well as state wildlife resource offices. Look at what is happening in Oregon.

i believe it really comes down to there are better people for the job, even people with a low enough moral compass for the job but they can make more money elsewhere with less stress so why give up a great corporate job that pays more and doesn't make you public enemy #1.

And that is because every rancher, farmer, outdoor kid hears nothing but negative talk about state and federal agencies and the people that work there. Some true, most of it not. So, when they grow up none of them want to be associated with any of it. Sad in a way.
