OhiosamWashington state black bear hunt
Looking for some guidance on a fall black bear hunt in Washington state. Can anyone recommend a good outfitter?
Looking at Washington because I have some time at the end of August/early September and because I have a son living in Seattle.
Any help is appreciated.

COYOTE HUNTERThere is an indian reservation there that has some fantastic black bear hunting. You can't bait in Washington but the indians can do whatever they want on the rez so I have heard they really pull them in. Not sure what the name of the rez is or any of the guides but have seen pictures in the past of some really big bears coming off that hunt.
Sorry to be so vague but perhaps it's something to look in to.

WoodHunterProbably the Quinault Reservation.
Can you say Rain Forest? I have been there, take the Gore Tex!
I will look up some info and post later.

miketaylorSorry a bit off topic!!
I might sound very stupid here but is Quinault where Lake Quinault can be found?
I have an Aunt and Uncle who moved to the states many years ago and live in Aberdeen. My brother and I used to go and stay with them in the school summer holidays and we often went to Lake Quinault and stayed in the log cabins there.
Such a beautiful place.
With kind regards
Mike

I was more proud of the photo than anything.
You wouldn't believe the wrestling match I had getting that bear out of a hole and into that clearing. I was by myself, running out of daylight and it was raining like crazy. Luckily I had one of those mini gorrila pods for my camera and got that pic right before dark.

twilliBills outdoor adventures had a nice website and some of those bears were pigs. Price seems reasonable too compared to going to Vancouver Island.
