asdfsolids: fps and diameter
There's several makers of blunt nose solids on the market, such as GS. Any general recommendations as to what fps, diameter, and SD are needed when hunting game weighing up to, say, 1000 lb? Or should one just stick to softs for game no larger than this? It seems the reliable, deep penetration offered by solids should count for something.

Skidlyclose range is ok, but not for long-range because of the bad BC they lose speed fast. If hunting closer ranges and thick brush they are better, because not as effected by twigs ect.
